I’ve decided to put some of my more technical notes online in a format that will hopefully me more accessible to people, and help me keep track of what I’m doing/have done.
Hopefully I’ll be covering a number of my personal projects, and interesting foibles from my work.
One of my key personal goals at work is providing a tight integration of disperate operating systems – this may sound bold and wide ranging, but actually its a very narrow field. The main focus of this is allowing our users (all on a Windows platform) transparent access to services from Linux servers – proxy server, web servers, mail servers etc. So far, this has been very successful and has provided a very good ROI on the time and hardware I’ve used on the various projects.
Most of my personal projects never go anywhere. Surprisingly enough. Or they sort of go somewhere and then stall for various reasons. If you find this article useful, buy me a beer!
